Review – Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail

Marina7 It is hard to believe that something so adorably cute can produce some really noxious smells! One of those diapers can turn my room into the “Bog of Eternal Stench”. Luckily for me, my aunt gifted me with Munchkin’s diaper pail and lots of refills because my little cutie can go through a lot of diapers!

I really like how easy it is to use this diaper pail. It’s easy to open and the diapers are kept in the base of the unit behind a barrier to keep the smells from leaking through while the lid is open. It has a cartridge filled with baking soda in the lid and the bags seal shut when you are ready to change them out. This pail seals all the smells in when it is closed and used properly. I would be careful about over filling the bags. The Baking soda cartridge fills the opening of the pail so you could potentially break the inside of the pail if you have to force the lid closed. Bag and baking soda cartridge refills look like they can get costly. A 30 pack box of refills bags runs $16.99 and the baking soda cartridge runs $3.99 on the Munchkin website., though I think you can refill the baking soda cartridge.

Pros:pail

  • Keeps odors sealed in.
  • Easy to use.
  • Bag locks shut when you are ready to change it.

Cons:

  • Price of refill bags.

This is definitely a product I would recommend even with the cost of the bags. I like that you can seal the bags closed when they are full. They do a good job of sealing the odors in even when the bag is taken out of the pail.
